My favorite holiday

My favorite holiday is Christmas.
I like Christmas because I can be happy.
The scene in cities are beautiful with Christmas decorations when it is getting near to Christmas.
In addition, I can hear Christmas songs when I walk down the streets or go shopping.
Also, my mother make delicious food on the evening of Christmas Day.
On the weekend, I can enjoy a Christmas party with my friends.
Those make me happy.
I love Christmas!!

Semester break

I did club activity most of the days during the semester break.

Our team played games versus Kansai university and Konan university.
I played in the game against Konan university, and I felt nervous.
Our team lost both of the two games.
It's very regrettable, so I'm going to practice hard from now on.

On one of a day during the semester break, I enjoyed school festival.
I ate many foods.
For example, yakisoba(I bought it at my friend's friend's booth),
age shu-ice (This is a tempura of ice cream), frankfurt with delicious sauce, and so on.
They were very delicious!!

On a day after the game was over, I went to see a singer,Yuna Ito.
She is from Hawaii and her voice is beautiful.
I couldn't see her face, but I heard her voice, so I was happy.

My semester break was a full days!!

My Favorite High School Memory

My Favorite high school memory is the school trip.

When I'm in the second year in high school, I went to Australia as a school trip.
I stayed with an Australian family with a friend for 3 days.
The other day, I went sightseeing to Sydney.
The family was father, mother and their 9 years old daughter, and they were very kind to us.
They took us to their daughter's concert, to an amusement ground, where I held a koala!!
In addition, we went shopping together and ate dinner at HARD ROCK CAFE.
I had a great time.

In addition, I learned many things in Australia.
For example, they don't say I "take" a bath.
They say I "have" a bath.
When I said "May I take a bath?", I was laughed.
I was taught that to take a bath means to bring a bath, and that expression was wrong.

Alhough it was my first trip to overseas, I could communicate with foreign people in English, so I was very happy!!
I thought it was worth my while to have studied English for 5years.

Trends In Japan

I think pop idols is very popular in Japan now.
At any time pop idols are popular, but now, pop idols are diversifying.
There are many types of pop idols.
For example, Perfume, which is a group of 3 girls, sing techno songs.
AKB 48, which has a lot of members, is a group that you can meet directly if you go to Akihabara in Tokyo.
Shoujojidai (girlhood in English) is a group from Korea.
They are popular in Japan.

I think idol can't make money without any devices.
Just "cute" or "pretty" is not good.
I'm not a big fan of any idols, but I think Shoujojidai is cute.

In the next 20 years...

In the next 20 years, the world will change a lot.

For example, new information technology will be created.
We may have new type of cellphones which are better than i-phone.

Especially, globalization will spread more.
Many foreign people will come and live in Japan.
Some of my friends may marrige foreigners.

However, the world will not change only in the good way.
There will be many problems about environment and cultural and religious conflicts.
I hope new technology and our knowledge will solve these problems.

Globalization

I think globalization is to share various things all over the world.
Macdonald's is one of the example of globalization.
In old Japan, we never eat meat and bread.
However, we eat them almost everyday now.
If we go to Macdonald's, we can enjoy American taste hamburgers, drinks, potatoes, and so on.
Today, people around the world can taste the Magdonals's food.
I think that is one of the globarization.
Globalization gives me new knowledge,information, culture, food, and so on.
Those affects me to broaden my horizons.

TOKYO DISNEY SEA

I went to Tokyo Disney Sea on 15th in September with my friends.
I took a night bus to go there, so I came home this morning.
I had a very good time!!
Disney Sea was not so crowded.
I think there were many university students.

Now, it is halloween season, so I enjoyed halloween version of show or food.
For example, I ate pumpkin mousse.
It was delicious!!

In fact, I decided to go to Disney Sea 4 days ago.('0')/
It was a sudden trip.
I'm happy that I could make a summer memory.

Summer Vacation

I'm really enjoying summer vacation.

Recently, I practice archery almost everyday.
Archery is played outside.
It's very hot, so practice is hard.
On 20th in August, I will play a game at Doshisha Univ.
I'm looking forward to playing in the game.
I want to do my best!!

Now I remember, I don't study English very much.
It's a serious problem!!
Summer vacation is very long, so if I don't study, my English skills will be worse...
Now, I dicided to sudy for the TOEFL-TEST in September.
My TOEFL score is not achieved to 500 point, so my aim is to get a score higher than 500.
I try hard!!

Spring Semester Evaluation

a) I learned so many way to make my English writing skills better.
For example, a topic sentence includes topic and main idea.
I have to restate topic sentence in the last paragraph.
Off topic is called digression, and so on.

b) At first, I felt this class was a little difficult and I was often confused.
Finally, it was good level for me.

c) I like blogging in English.
I'd like to write this blog during the summer vacation!

My Summer Vacation Plans

I'm very looking forward the summer vacation!
It's the first vacation since I entered KGU.

I belong to archery club.
Summer vacation is a good chance to improve my skills.
I am going to play archery almost everyday.
I want to practice hard and enjoy club avtivity.

Besides, I want to earn money.
Now, I have a part-time job as an teacher at juku school.
I teach English to a junior high school student.
This job is a little difficult, but I try hard during the summer vacation,too.

In addition, I want to go out with my friends.
Staying at friend's house must be fun!

I'm impatient for the summer vacation!

What I would like to accomplish in the future

I would like to work at tourist industry.
I like traveling very much.
My dream is to work in foreign countries.
For that purpose, I have to master English.

In addition, now I learn Germany,French, and Indonesian.
So I would like to master them in the future.
I try hard!!

Favorite place I have visited

I like Tokyo Disney Resort because the resort makes me happy.
Disney Resort have two parks, Disney Land and Disney Sea.

I especially recommend you to go to Disney Sea.

There is a big harbor and it's very very beautiful at night.
You can see a romantic view.

In addition, there are many exciting rides.
For example, I love "Raising Spirits" ,a roller coaster.
It turns 360°.
Every time I go there, I ride it at first.
After I enjoyed the ride, I can be active.

Besides, I like food sold there.
All food in Disney Sea is delicious.
Do you know "Gyouza dog"?
It's one of my favorite foods.
The shape is like a hot dog,but the taste is that of Chinese dog(Nikuman).

If you have never been to Disney Resort, you should go there once in your life.
You can't miss it !!

Golden Week

My Golden Week was pretty good.

On Sunday,I went to see a movie with my friends in Kyoto.
The movie was "Soranin".
I like the actress who played the main character,Aoi Miyazaki.

After the movie,we had a good time talking about our new school lives.
They seem to enjoy their school life ,and me,too.

On Tuesday,I went to see a baseball game at Koshien stadium.
The game was KGU versus Kansai Univ.
It was exciting,but KGU lost game.
The score was 4 to 7.

I enjoyed seeing cheering party.
I saw live performance of Cheerleaders and brass band for the first time.
They heated me up.

I spent good days during Golden Week.

My first impression of KGU

My first impression of KGU was that the buildings were very beautiful and there were many people.

I was nervous if I could get along with new friends.
But now, I enjoy talking with my new friends and club activity.
I join KGU's archery club temporarily.
Practice of archery is interesting.

I also enjoy leaning Indonesian.
I'd like to make friends with Indonesian.

I enjoy least a difficult class of iternational relations.
But I'm going to work hard to understand.

I'm a student of Kwansei Gakuin University.
I'm majoring in International Studies.

I live in Takatsuki in Osaka.
Takatsuki is in the northern part of Osaka.

My hobby is playing the electone, reading magazines,comic books and learning foreign languages.
So, I'm studying English, German and French.
I want to master them.

I'm thinking of joining a sports or a music club.
I'm interested in archery and orchestra.
